318 Window Films and Cleaning LLC installs window film on vehicles, homes, businesses and heavy equipment across northeast Louisiana. Every job is handled by the owner — the same person who started tinting in 1985 and once ran the largest film shop in the region. No rotating crews, no shortcuts, no guesswork.

Quality film from Geoshield in Baton Rouge and X-Sun out of Florida — ceramic for vehicles, alloys for homes and buildings. Up to 60% of the heat and 99% of UV stopped at the glass. Applied inside, with exterior films available for homes and businesses.
Standard tint runs 1.5–2mm; safety film often exceeds 8mm. Applied inside flat-pane glass to resist storms, vandalism and forced entry, with a bonding agent tying the film to the window frame. To be clear, it does not bulletproof glass. All safety films block UV, and tinted versions are available.
Cut glare and cooling costs, keep one consistent look across the whole building, and stop interiors from washing out.
Solution, scrape, scrub, squeegee — the same prep every tint job starts with, offered on its own for commercial properties. Monthly, quarterly or one-time. We're currently equipment-limited to 1.5 story glass.

We look at the glass, talk through shade, film type and legal limits, and give you a straight number.

Every pane is scraped, scrubbed and squeegeed clean. Most film failures come from prep, so it never gets rushed.

Film is cut and heat-shrunk to fit the glass, then laid clean with no creases, gaps or lifted edges.

You get the care instructions, the cure window and a walkthrough before we leave the job.
Who we are
John started laying film in 1985 and never stopped perfecting it. When you book with 318 Window Films, he is the one on the job — the estimate, the prep and the install all come from the same pair of hands.
1985
Starts tinting in the carport of his mother's home.
Early days
Becomes one of the first tint installers for MAGIC Auto Glass.
Then
Runs Protective Window Films — the region's largest shop, six installers, 20+ vehicles a day.
Today
Back full time, tinting heavy equipment, businesses, homes and vehicles around West Monroe.
